My Grandma Can Dunk Better Than That!

The 2010 NBA All-Star Dunk Contest was a complete flop. Thousands of screaming fans packed the American Airlines Arena to watch one of the most anticipated events of the year. However, there was a BIG problem- there wasn't anybody great in it! People want to watch Lebron James and Dwight Howard take flight against each other. But, instead, we had to settle for the unknown DeMar DeRozan and Gerald Wallace. It was a mediocre performance by everyone. The dunks seemed so simple and uncreative. No props were used. No exciting costumes were worn. There was just no "wow" factor. However, I must give 5'9" Nate Robinson credit for his third consecutive Slam Dunk Contest Championship. He wasn't as brilliant as before, but the dude is so small that it seems almost unreal for someone to jump that high!

Dear NBA Commissioner David Stern,
I expect better competition and performance next year in the Slam Dunk Contest. This past weekend was a disgrace to the once prominent event. Please force Lebron James to participate in the 2011 NBA Dunk Contest. I would very much appreciate it. Thanks!
Yours Truly,
Owen
P.S. Can San Antonio host the 2011 All-Star Weekend?? Go Spurs Go!
